~A Little About ~ MaryBeth May~

MaryBeth May is a singer, musician,

and songwriter who loves ministering to others through

Southern Gospel as well as Praise and Worship/CCM music.

​

MaryBeth is from Laurel, MS where she lives with her family.

Her family has been a big influence in developing her love for singing

as well as playing different instruments.

Each of her five siblings play an instrument or they are involved in the arts.

​

She enjoys playing the guitar, ukulele, and the piano.
Her earliest exposure to the music world was through

Southern Gospel Group The Houston Road Boys

of which her father has been a part of for over 30 years.

​

MaryBeth began her career as a solo artist in 2015.

She has ministered through song at many churches and specials events t

hrough out Mississippi as well as singing while on mission trips in North Carolina.

​

Through out her career she has had the opportunity to open for both regionally

and nationally recognized artist including The Sound, Andrew Ishee,

The Griffith Family, and The Houston Road Boys.

​

One performance that stands out for MaryBeth was opening for The Griffith Family whenever they    

came and sang at her home church, First Baptist Church of Sharon in 2019.

​

She also loves being able to help lead worship at her home church whenever given the opportunity.
